Twins Make SHOCKING Move to Bolster Bullpen – You Won’t Believe Who They Just Signed! Streameast

The Minnesota Twins have agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with left-handed reliever Danny Coulombe, pending a physical, a source told MLB.com’s Matthew Leach. The club has yet to confirm the signing, which also includes performance bonuses, according to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand.

Coulombe, 35, returns to Minnesota to provide a much-needed lefty arm in a bullpen dominated by right-handers. He effectively replaces Caleb Thielbar, who departed in free agency to join the Cubs. Before this signing, the Twins had yet to add a free agent on a Major League deal this offseason.

A familiar face in Minnesota, Coulombe previously pitched for the Twins from 2020-22 before being traded to the Orioles in March 2023. He thrived in Baltimore, posting a 2.56 ERA with 90 strikeouts and 17 walks over 81 innings in 94 appearances across two seasons.

Over his 10-year MLB career, the St. Louis native has compiled a 3.52 ERA in 288 games, making stops with the Dodgers, Athletics, Twins, and Orioles. His return gives Minnesota a proven, veteran presence in the bullpen as they gear up for the 2025 season.
